About Loving Through Loss

Walking alongside you,
with care and compassion.

I’m Kimberley Bjornsson, an end of life doula in Regina, SK. I accompany individuals and families as they prepare for the future, navigate the end of life journey, and find their way through grief.

Together, we can explore your wishes, organize questions and documents, and make room for the conversations that matter. As death approaches, I offer companionship, advocacy and vigil support, alongside your family and existing care team.

My role is non-medical. Planning guidance is supportive education and coordination, not legal or medical advice. Your choices, beliefs and relationships remain at the centre.

My approach

Room for your story.
Respect for your wishes.

After a terminal diagnosis, there can be many conversations and decisions to navigate. I offer a steady presence and help connect the people supporting you.

01

Alongside individuals and families

Space to be heard, to ask questions and to share what matters to you.

02

A calm, attentive presence

Companionship at the bedside that follows your preferences, without promises about outcomes.

03

Connected, respectful support

Coordination with cultural and spiritual leaders, funeral professionals and care teams, with your permission.

A personal path, never a prescribed one.

Care shaped around your wishes, your beliefs and your pace.

Every conversation about loss is also a conversation about love.

There is no right order to these things, and no need to have answers before you begin. Whatever you would like to talk about, there is room for it here.

Shared experiences

Stories shared with permission.

Kimberley sat with us through long evenings and never rushed a single conversation. She helped our family say the things we had been carrying for months.

Margaret H.

Daughter of a client

Having someone calm beside us while we sorted questions and papers took away so much of the fear. We finally felt like we had a plan we could live with.

David R.

Client, Regina

She listened more than she spoke, and somehow that was exactly what we needed. My mother felt respected and heard until the very end.

Susan K.

Daughter of a client

After my husband passed, Kimberley checked in week after week. Grief felt less lonely knowing someone remembered and genuinely cared.

Elaine T.

Grief support client

The seminar gave me words for things I had avoided for years. I left with practical steps and a much lighter heart about the future.

Robert M.

Seminar attendee

She helped us plan a memorial that truly felt like my sister. Every detail honoured who she was, and our family is so grateful.
